Summary : The parents and the patient flew in to Kuala Lumpur from Sandakan, Sabah and over a video conferencing session with Dr. Collin John, Senior Pediatics Surgeon at NH, from MediAssist4U discussed the above case in detail. A glimmer of hope came about when Dr. John informed the parents that a Bi-Directional Glenn Operation will be administered to help correct the child’s heart condition. The parents notified Dr. John that the hospitals they had referred in Malaysia were not in favor of conducting any surgery on the child and their advice was discouraging. Leaster is doing fine after the surgery. He has gained weight and has

Summary : Patient a known diabetic, smoker and alcoholic before he was presented with chest pain and his investigations showed a positive stress test with coronary angiogram triple vessel disease. On examination his vital signs are stable with normal systemic review. Patient departed for NH on 3.11.06 with his son for the operation.
Mr. Sin recovered well and was back within two weeks. After 6 weeks,
he was reviewed by surgeons from NH via telemedicine. Today he is happily
carrying on his shoe sales business.
